Hakim has over seventeen years of experience in Marine Renewable Energies, starting as research engineer then evolving into project engineering, market economics and financial analysis, financial control & modeling, finance & project development support of an offshore wind pilot site in France, then developing a business involving a team of 40 persons – Innosea.
He has expertise and broad knowledge of the renewable energy industry through project coordination, financial support and due diligence, and engineering team management experience on a wide range of topics.
His project portfolio covers fixed and floating offshore wind, tidal energy, floating solar PV and wave energy, at an international level.
He also has considerable experience in operational and management teams supervision (up to 25-people in multidisciplinary project team).
His global experience covers working on projects and with clients across the marine renewable space in Asia, Europe, North America and Australia.
He has experience in working with a large range of company types (finance stakeholders, utilities,
manufacturers, technology developers, R&D labs).
