The BOOST project: Bringing offshore ocean sun to the global market, is a multi-national collaborative project, which aims to design and deploy 0.25 MW of offshore floating solar technology in non-sheltered sea waters, namely in one of Europe’s sunniest areas, the Canary Islands.

Innosea’s scope work

Innosea’s scope of work involves the supervision the mooring design and numerical modelling of the technology.

Testing sites have been selected to offer unique environmental challenges to the project engineering, with wave heights up to 10m high and high winds.
