Innosea – part of OWC – has provided technical due diligence for the potential development of multiple floating solar PV sites on hydropower plant reservoirs.
Our scope of work
Work package 1: Review of all site conditions, risks, potential and development priorities, including:
- Red flag assessments – preliminary technical review of the available studies and existing data (site conditions, HPP restrictions and operations, social and fauna/flora constraints, permitting)
- Review of the grid connection availability
- Site visits
- Site selection based on a multi-criterion assessment
- Development of strategy recommendation and studies priorities
Work package 2: Final technical due diligence:
- Site conditions and site studies
- Project preliminary design
- Transmission and interconnection
- Solar resource and energy yield assessment
- Approvals and permits
- Risk identification and mitigation measures
- CAPEX / OPEX estimation
